Award-winning Irish operatic soprano, Mairéad Buicke, has performed major roles with English National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Opera Theatre Company and Mid Wales Opera.

Mairéad has worked with directors such as David Alden, Jonathan Miller, Robert Carsen and John Copley, conductors Edward Gardner, Laurent Wagner, Stephen Barlow and Gerhard Markson, and has performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, the Orchestra of St Cecilia, the Ulster Chamber Orchestra, the English National Opera Orchestra and the English Northern Philharmonia.

 

Her operatic repertoire includes Mimì and Musetta La bohème, Fiordiligi Così Fan Tutte, the title role in Tosca, Micaela Carmen, Pamina/First Lady The Magic Flute, Violetta La Traviata, Sylviane The Merry Widow, Paquette Candide, Karolka Jenůfa, Second Niece Peter Grimes, Antonia Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Clorinda La Cenerentola and Mařenka The Bartered Bride.
